Net Double Bogey began with a simple idea: give golfers a clearer view of a course before they decide where to play.
A better way to see
the whole course.
While planning a golf trip with a friend, we kept running into the same problem: golf courses can be surprisingly difficult to describe. How much water is “a little bit”? How tight is a “tight” fairway? How wide is “wide open”? One golfer’s intimidating carry may barely register to another.
Scorecards, photos, reviews, satellite imagery and course websites all provide useful pieces of the picture, but they rarely show how an entire course fits together from hole to hole.
Video helps fill in those gaps.

Net Double Bogey is here to help golfers see and understand a course before deciding where to play.
The course
comes first.
I’ve played golf for most of my life, and I film courses with the questions another golfer would naturally ask in mind.
These flyovers show how the course looks, how the holes connect and what you can expect when you arrive.
Every golfer values something different, so Net Double Bogey isn’t here to rank courses or decide whether one is good, bad, easy, difficult or worth playing.
The goal is to present each course clearly, accurately and consistently, then let golfers make that decision for themselves.
The same approach applies everywhere: let the layout, setting and character of each course speak for themselves.
The course is the subject.
Net Double Bogey is built around the courses and the people who play, design and care for them.
The course library is at the heart of this project, helping golfers discover places to play and plan their next round.
I want its usefulness to be the reason people come back.

In time, I may become a more visible part of the site to share information in additional ways that are entertaining and informative. Wherever the project goes, the focus will remain on the game, the courses and the people who make golf what it is.
